According to Syahrul, we are all wonderful

I was walking home from tuition. A rather long walk. And like many previous long walks that I had, I was reflecting on a particular memory or, a person rather.

It was a really good memory. I was too caught up in the day to think about it and somehow, thinking about it while walking home was the best time to just immerse myself in the specialty of today. There were too many great memories that I could recall and I wish for them to stay with me, through the years ahead. I won’t deny that I would do anything just to play it all back, in real time and not just, fragments from my mind.

I’m definitely not sad or emotional about it. ‘It’ being the loss of real love. How do I know? I just.. feel it. That feeling you get when it breaks your heart and you feel every inch of that rip. You get breathless and every time you think about it, it’s that same feeling all over again, like it’s the first time. I kinda like that feeling (and no, I’m not being ‘emo’ or sadistic). It makes me alive. It makes me realize what Life is really all about. How feelings are fragile and the relationships that we build with other people matters.

You’ve mattered to me for the past 4 years, and you’re always going to be. I don’t see myself moving on from this failure (my failure, in fact) anytime soon. But I hope you do. Seek the happiness that you’ve always sought for because I believe you needed that. I’ll find mine, with God’s willing.
